Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Director of Customer Marketing to help drive OptimoRoute’s product-led and mid-market growth trajectory. In this role, you will join a team focused on developing and driving increasingly sophisticated marketing programs and strategic initiatives. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, analytical, and adaptable marketing leader who can seize this unique opportunity.
You will lead our customer marketing strategies and manage our multichannel CRM programs. Your main focus will be on customer activation, engagement, and retention from onboarding through advocacy. Working closely with Customer Success, Marketing, Sales, and Product teams, you will decrease time to value, deepen product usage, and increase customer loyalty.

Responsibilities
- Lead OptimoRoute’s customer marketing organization, overseeing strategy, analytics, and operations while providing hands-on support and development to the team when needed
- Develop differentiated strategies by GTM (Go-To-Market) segments to drive product adoption through various owned channels, including webinars, email, SMS, direct messaging, and push notifications
- Implement a testing and optimization roadmap aimed at maximizing long-term scalability
- Own and drive the webinar program
- Collaborate with the Client Success team to devise strategies for cross-selling and upselling products and services, as well as effective customer marketing plans that help leads and customers discover new ways to engage with our offerings
- Partner with Product Marketing, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams to deliver on corporate objectives and key results (OKRs)
- Improve operations by establishing clear objectives and key results aligned with business goals, tracking performance and deliverables, measuring the team’s impact, and effectively managing priorities and productivity
- Share comprehensive marketing performance updates and insights across the organization
- Lead, manage, coach, and inspire a motivated team of customer marketers, fostering a culture of passion, excitement, and knowledge centered around our customers
Requirements
- 5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3-5 years in B2B SaaS solutions and a minimum of 2 years leading a small team. Specific experience in customer marketing is required
- Demonstrated experience in leading a marketing function within a high-growth environment
- Proven success in driving revenue growth through effective marketing strategies in subscription-based B2B SaaS businesses
- Experience in both a PLG and Enterprise sales motion
- Strong strategic planning, execution, and measurement skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills
- Driven to understand and solve problems, with the ability to distill information into actionable insights
- Experience using marketing technology platforms such as Marketo, Customer.io, and Intercom, as well as Revenue technologies like Salesforce and Google Analytics

- Deep expertise in email marketing and webinars
- Results-oriented mindset and resourcefulness
- Creative and innovative mindset, comfortable acting decisively in the face of ambiguity
